The award recognizes the central role Dr. Godderis plays in university and community initiatives to combat gendered violence and promote feminist, anti-oppression activism and research.
It recognizes Dr. Nelson for his leadership in community health and social support services, as well as his contributions to creating Laurier’s doctoral program in community psychology.
Dr. Nelson and Dr. Godderis will be honored at this spring’s Convocation ceremonies.
