“LAURIER COMMONS” meeting August 5

Notice from the “Laurier Commons” group of its third monthly meeting
Time: Wednesday August 5, 2:00 pm
Location: BA 308 (Note: this is a change from the DAWB where the previous two meetings were held) with videoconferencing link to Brantford RCW 324 206 306

Let’s not let the tremendous energy generated this year be lost. Let’s meet and talk about what we’ve done and what more we want to do in response to university work and learning conditions. Let’s consider how we might combine our efforts as we move into what will certainly be pressing issues yet again in September. And so this is an open invitation to all members of the Laurier Community – tenured and non-tenured faculty, Contract Faculty, staff and for sure students – to build on past and current, individual and group initiatives while encouraging additional innovative responses to collective trusteeship.
Agenda items include but are not limited to:
• A framing workshop on how to communicate our message
• CAS negotiations: the elephant without a room including CUPE update
