A tentative agreement was reached during mediation on Tuesday 26 November 2013 between the Administration and the Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association (WLUFA), representing Contract Academic Staff (CAS).
The agreement between the two sides remains tentative until it is ratified by the parties represented by the two negotiating teams. WLUFA will present the terms of the tentative agreement at a meeting for CAS members prior to holding a ratification vote.
The Administration has to present the deal to the Board of Governors before that body can give its approval.
